I don't blame the keeper at all by the way single mistakes happen and a decent team copes with them. England should have been easily able to qualify in that group. I feel sorry for the Scats who nearly managed to qualify in a much more difficult group.

The state of the pitch was appaling and I can't blame the goalie myself, but I've never seen such poor passing and inability to retain possession. Maybe it was the greasy pitch but Croatia had the same problem.

BTW wasn't Wembley supposed to have a retractable roof and if not why not?
