Our very large and very stable FP/DOS2.6 (extended version) app has suddenly been giving us Windows 95 "Illegal Operation" errors. We keep adding enhancements as necessary and it seems that we're suddenly reaching some kind of memory limitation.

It first started happening in an area that had a lot of tables opened but we solved the problem by releasing our loaded APIs (SET LIBRARY TO), running the crash-causing program, and then reloading the APIs again.

Last week it happened in a related program under similar circumstances and we solved the problem the same way. However, while the fix worked on almost all of our PCs (all Win95), it still happens occasionally on one guy's PC.

Today, it started happening in a program that has only a few small tables opened--in an unrelated area of the program. We're pretty scared because our primary users are nurses in hospitals and it is potentially life-threatening if these problems occur in the hospital.
