I've also had very good results using peanut oil. For those who haven't tried it, you don't know what you are missing. The meat is not oily or greasy, apparently due to the oil being heated to 350 degrees. The only problem is it tends to evaporate,especially with a teenage son hanging around!<g>

Where the kinell do you get a pan big enough for that? A dustbin (trashcan)? And what do you do with all the oil afterwards?
