About the only thing you can do to prevent this is put a battery backup power supply on the server, and smaller battery power back ups on workstations. The manufacturer APC (American Power Conversion) makes a workstation power strip with battery supply called Back UPS Office. The also make larger batteries for servers.

Otherwise, you could purchase a 3rd party utility to include with your application that will repair [header] damage to your tables. FoxFix and Stonefield, to name just two such sources.
