screen with the list of orders. I have been over the .SPR file again and again and I can't see why this screen opens as there is no code telling it to! It just seems to open by itself! There must be something somewhere telling it to open but I have no idea how to find it. Any ideas anyone? It's driving me nuts. TIA.

Mmmmmm... haven't used it at all, but remember having read... you say .spr - it's a GenScrn generated file, right? Then it probably uses READ CYCLE, so it won't exit until explicitly told to. Try to add one Clear Read at the end of the push button's snippet, that should kill it off.
