I don't see how the example would not work. Read the file location from the registry, then display the contents.

>Thanks for the input! This would work great in another setting, but I need to check in a location determined by a registry entry, not on my system, and need to write the contents to the message box. I then need to start another time to force a system shutdown. I need to start the timer as soon as the user logs in to the system as well.
