Hi Russell,

>Am I right in thinking that Subversion does not work with VFP's table-based source code files (VCX, SCX, etc.)? I'm not sure I'd want to work with a product that makes me work so hard to fit into its requirements.

The problem is not the fact that these files are table based. Subversion can handle those fine. The problem is that the content of the files changes whenever you build the project in VFP. This causes a conflict that Subversion cannot handle automatically as they are binary files.

Systems that require exclusive checkout (VSS, Vault, TeamSystem) handle this better since they don't need to test for a conflict if you haven't checked a file out.
