I've heard (now when it's about late) that fox urine extract will repel any critters, except maybe foxes. Since the only foxes we have here have version numbers and service packs, that'd probably work.

We don't have crawlspace under the house - it's a townhouse on a slab - but the walls themselves are a crawlspace, for anything small enough.
