>>I have some answers, and I've already outlined them in previous messages. If you feel like dancing another round with me, we can take the rest of the week.

>Ok, in respect of getting to the point shortly... Regardless of the history you bring up, then you have no problem now in them being here illegally and feel they should have all the same rights as we do? If you do, then we are done as we are at an impasse.

They should be offered a way to become legal, pay a fine and pay their taxes just like everybody else (some retroactively, but nothing to break their backs or destroy the families) or choose to leave within a year or two. Now what form of legal is up to your representatives. The businesses which profited on them should pay in taxes (and Social Security etc) whatever they were not paying for the duration, plus fines and should switch these guys to legally employed with prevalent wages.

After this transitional period of year or two, just deport anyone like before. And help their countries for real - those people would have been satisfied with far less at home than what they got here, just as long as they could survive at home.

And please stop counting vaccines as a privilege. It's a common interest. You don't want people around you to get infected just because they are undocumented. The viruses don't give a damn about any documents.
