In my experience, they cope just fine.
Anyone who is going to type filenames anyway, has no problem. Those who would have problems always point and click.
Also, case is not the only thing that confuses 'less astute' users. They also can't distinguish between - and _, don't understand that "my file" is different to "myfile" and so forth.
Anyway, this is getting off topic. Let's stick to practical tips for Subversion + Fox.
