>>Here's a question I asked a long time ago and never really found an answer to. I have a multiuser app that accesses databases and tables located on a network fileserver. The project file on my development PC includes the data tables in the project manager. I find that when another user is logged on, it takes an inordinate amount of time to refresh the data tab in the project manager. (minutes) Whereas if noone else is logged on the refresh is almost instant.

>"Network" is not "gross productivity". You should not be accessing the shared data tables in your project manager, but have a set of table on your local machine for testing. Build your exe and copy it to the server. Have the exe propagated to the pcs along with a DBC.

I know it's probably not best to use the live data for testing but I occassionally have to do some manual edits on the data outside of the compiled program. Hence the inclusion of the data in the project manager to facilitate easy access to them. My compiled exe is placed on the server and copied to the local PCs (if there is an update) when the users launch the program. What did you mean by "along with a DBC"?
