Good article. This is what I do for a living and it can be a pain as I have hundreds of forms with hundreds of objects on many of the forms in just one application.
It seems that as programmers we still jump through hoops and use bandages as required. If one thing changes (operating system, browser, network, switch, database, etc.) then
you may have a problem.
When we went from IE 5 to IE 5.5 we had a serious problem! You could add records but if you edited and saved it deleted the entire row. It took 3 Microsoft Engineers three weeks to solve the problem. I cannot mention how many workarounds I have had to use. At least I get paid for all of this joy I am surrounded by. :)
Perhaps the next version of a Microsoft tool will solve all of our problems! :)
