>>Are you seriously saying that sleeping in a park for months is accidental? I mean, falling asleep once may be, but doing it dozens of times... not only premeditated, but actually repeated action, which is probably worse legally than one-time. And imagine the three-strikes-out rule. You're lucky that nobody bothered you, and you didn't even know whether it was illegal or not. And the legal principle that ignorance is no excuse is the same everywhere, AFAIK - you could have got a life in some places.

>You are twisting it and you know it.

Just imagining how far could a keen DA stretch it :).

>Premeditation to lose a job and place to live? No. Living in the park is a result of that. You are left with no choice because you have no money and no place to live.

Actually, the whole "vagrancy is forbidden" legal story sounds ridiculous to me, unless it was just a feebly masked attempt to remove Gypsies, as they are the guys who live outside most of the time. Other than them, why would anyone want to sleep outside regularly? Out of a whim? I really don't see why would it be forbidden, specially in a park, which is a public area.

>Crossing the border into another country illegally is premeditated.

Actually I know of a case... one of the Bosnian colonists in 1947 got into a village on the border. He was in the corn fields, and felt like peeing, and not trusting the corn to hide him properly ("give me solid rock - this is nothing"), walked a tad too far. The border was in the middle of a corn field. Luckily, it was before 1948 - so he survived.

> How about you? Unless you got something fresh, I think I'm done with this. I'm not big on that whole last word thing, so if you have any closing comments...

Here: Zyrian. That's the last word in the dictionary I'm using.
