>Not sure when retail package comes out, but I do know MS is holding a series of installfests in early-mid december where you can go and install VS 2008 and then they will send you a free copy of VS 2008 pro when available. This maybe the fastest and cheapest way to get it w/o MSDN. My guess is retail will be January 10, 2008 (not based on any reliable info).
