VFP wil slow down more and more as the resources are taxed. Each class taces vfp differently, with forms (at least when I tested last in 6 or 8 AFAIR being the most "taxing". Each for in real life will have a number of other classes burdening vfp... And there are some approaches using invisible forms as biz objects (perhaps from times when there was no session class ?) so you might check that angle as well and recode any such animals found into a class base using session. And keep in mind that most often tables get buffered in private datasessions and so on, adding to the drag.

I consciously refrain from giving you any rule of thumb figure, as testing on typical client HW and your app is always more accurate and not really that difficult <g>. I've seen apps with complex forms slowing down markedly after the 8. form was opened and other systems with multi-tier architecture where opening 30 less complex forms was no real issue.
