Sam, Bryant G. is the worst play-by-play man I've ever heard.
As a teen, after realizing I was good but not stellar as an athlete, I wanted to be a sports broadcaster. By the time I was 18, I had actually done taped play-by-plays of all four major sports. I still do mental play-by-play when I'm watching games. I think that Bryant G. is terrible.
I could handle all the mistakes (actually, he has improved a tad from last year), if he'd show more enthusiasm. Or I could handle the monotone if he make less mistakes. But both???
