Hopefully, when these teams meet in the NFC championship they'll have a veteran officiating crew. What I witnessed was just awful. The crew last night was run by rookie official John Parry and it showed:
-Misinterpretation of an interception as a catch
-Missed a running into the kicker
-Didn't flag TO for using popcorn as a prop during TD celebration
-Multiple missed facemasks
-Screwing up the line of scrimmage by 10 yards after a challenge
-Horrible pass interference call
If I'm not mistaken this same crew also worked the Indy-Pats game earlier this year. Why oh why is the NFL scheduling a rookie crew for the 2 biggest regular season games of the year?
Note : I did not have a dog in this fight but as a Steeler fan I've been on both sides of awful officiating.
