>>Hopefully, when these teams meet in the NFC championship they'll have a veteran officiating crew. What I witnessed was just awful. The crew last night was run by rookie official John Parry and it showed:
>>
>>-Misinterpretation of an interception as a catch
>
>That was a weird one. They ruled that the ref. whistle the play dead before the CB took away the ball.
>
>>-Missed a running into the kicker
>
>He barely touch McBriar. Not much of a foul
>
Hence "running into" and not "roughing".
>>-Didn't flag TO for using popcorn as a prop during TD celebration
>
>Oh. let him have his fun.
>
Are we applying the rules or not?
>>-Multiple missed facemasks
>
>I agree. At one more they didn't call. No biggy tho.
>
>>-Screwing up the line of scrimmage by 10 yards after a challenge
>
>Fortunately they finally got it right.
>
>>-Horrible pass interference call
>
>It was the correct call. The guy was giveing Miles Austin a shoulder massage starting from the 20 yard line then he trips him up.
It was a close judgement call and the referee closest to the play did not throw the flag. Only after a discussion did Parry throw the flag. Terrible.
