Yes, I understand the problem. It occurs because when you run a menu VFP displays the menu then continues running the next line of the program until it encounters a wait state or the program completes execution. If you're in the VFP environment, you won't exit VFP when the program ends. Your menu will display and you will be able to choose items from it even though your program has completed. When you run the EXE from outside of VFP, the EXE closes when your program terminates. Put a READ EVENTS after you display your menu and a CLEAR EVENTS when your user chooses to exit and your EXE will run properly.
