Don't know about the "monkey's uncle", but I do remember the HOURS it took me (before I learned about UT) to figure this out back in VFP3. We've had some interesting threads about read-only cursors and when the temp files are written to disk also.

If it's a "true" table, it isn't needed, just APPEND FROM MyTable. But this will work for a table being USEd with another alias (USE MyTable alias NewTable).

9 acres? Whew, mine's only a suburban corner lot, about 50 X 100, minus the house footage.
