I'm pretty sure the Automation interfaces extend to the PDF creation out of all Word doucments as well because it's essentially an add-in to Office. It's free but wasn't shipped in the box because of the crap Adobe put up for their 'open' format.

This particular project uses Word 2003, but I'll keep that in mind.
