Jumpin' Jeebus on a Stick, man, give it a REST!
If you really want to do something productive about illegal immigration, then start writing your Congresscritters demanding that:
1) They start bringing pressure to the countries where the illegals are coming from to fix the infrastructure/invest in their own country so that people wouldn't have to go somewhere else to get a living wage.
2) They start bringing pressure on the business who take advantage of this pool of labor
that have no worker's rights . But you better be ready to pay for this when the business start having to pay the fines (and passing that on to the consumers), not to mention higher wages and payroll taxes for 'legal' workers.
And please, don't start on me with the 'They're breaking the law'. So are the individuals and businesses that hire them. I've read all the "Amurican showing their butts" that I care to read in the other thread and managed to abstain from commenting, but when you start yet ANOTHER thread of the same narrow-minded crap...well, congratulations, you passed my 'give it a rest' threshold.

>Where did this money come from? That's a lot of extra cash to have on hand when you are not a documented worker. Did they pay taxes on it? Did it come from illegal activity, other than the obvious? 315 currently enrolled is over 3 million dollars that came from somewhere.
