If you do not need to access Outlook's Address Book or other Outlook specific features, you might want to simplify things and use BLAT.DLL (
http://www.blat.net/194/ and
http://www.geocities.com/toby_korn/blat/). It is a SMTP mailer that does not require any other mail client on the PC. Free and it works!
