Oh God, I'm sitting here trying SO HARD not to respond to this... I'm not gonna jump in though only to say, I REALLY think you will change your mind when the time comes and you have a 10-12 year old child running around with 4-5 friends in your house.... At least I HOPE SO. I hope your mind changes long before that time. I've seen the crazy stuff a young boy (anything older than 6 actually) does (my neighbor came to my house and borrowed hair spray from my daughter and then proceeded to fire a potato gun from my poor directly in front of my french doors) and the thought of any dangerous weapon accessible to a child is TERRIFYING...

>>How's that going to work out? You have kids in the house, so surely the weapons and ammunition are locked up somewhere they can't get it. If someone breaks in, how are you going to have a loaded weapon available in time to do any good?
