Yep, and I see no reason to add guns to that list. Certainly, in an urban/suburban area, they offer no benefits, and we'd all be much better off if no one in these areas had them.


OK, fine....you taught your kids about the other dangers of life that they might encounter....but believing that a gun for protection in an urban/suburban area offers no benefits, is naive. Did you have discussions with your kids about guns?

Do you recall the incident in Manheim township back in May? That's one of many that occur in "peaceful" areas. A good shot to that teenager's shoulder might have saved at least one life.

Sure, we'd all be better off if NO ONE had them....but that's not going to happen. I don't like owning a gun, but I prefer it over the alternative.
