Did your kids get shot & die the last time they were in a house with a gun? If you think they have
never been in a house with a gun, then you're wrong. Just because you knew or didn't know didn't
change anything.

So that only leaves your perception of the dangers of guns in people's houses. Unlocked guns, yes,
they are dangerous. But so are medications carelessly left around 4 year olds, and steak knives
left out where kidscan get them. People have been killing each other for thousands of years - with
and without guns.

Why not say, "And I'd never have knowingly let my kids visit a home with anyting dangerous in it"?
