Don't get me wrong - I love the series, 1, which has just finished here but:

1) They keep banging on about saving the world, but from whom? Strikes me that it's only in danger from 3 of them with the potential to explode. So they're there to save the world from the threat they pose????

2) How does saving the cheerleader save the world? What role does she actually play in it, other than being indestructable and yet needing to be saved?

3) Why do the "powers that be" want to explode a bomb in NY? How can they be sure that Petrelli actually will lead the world out of the ashes, and why does he go along with the plot? After all, it's only Hiro who has/can see the future to be sure.

4) Was Julia Roberts's brother actually a baddie - I can't figure that one out - and why did Clair's dad shoot him out of hand?

5) What's with Syla anyway? Why does he want to kill them all?

6) Why did Petrelli snr fly his bro into the sky? Surely Jr could have done that himself and saved one of them (not, of course, that they are necessarily now actually dead - no spoilers please)

There are probably loads of others that I can't think of at the mo, but that should be enough to be going on with.

Any enlightenment would be much appreciated
