Hi Peter,
Let's see one at a time,
when you say pressing the 'Cancel' button,
while in the screen designer, double click on that button to go to the
'Push button' dialog box, and select 'Terminate READ on selection'.
To close the screen using 'Close' from the control menu, while
you are in the screen designer, go to the 'Layout' option under
the 'Screen' menu bar, then in the screen layout dialog click
on 'Window Style' and select 'Close' under 'Atributes', then
click on 'Code' in the 'Screen Layout' dialog box and go to
'On Window Deactivate', if you don't have anything in there
like 'READDEACT()', then click on 'Expresion' and then
just add .T. (that is true).
And the last one, you can't close a window just by double clicking
the title bar, double clicking the title bar will 'maximize' the
window or restore the window to the previous size.
Hope this help.
Good Luck !
