Hi, Gerard,

If you're using SQL Server 2005, I'd suggest that you look at SQL Integration Services.

I've done some data conversions and load jobs using SSIS, and I think it's a fantastic tool. I can design many conversion and uploading packages in SSIS while writing little or no code.

If you're using SQL 2005 and you need some specifics, let me know.
