The application allows for custom programs to be placed on a menu which
is supposed to be an isolated environment. It a version of this application
I used VFP5 to make my forms and reports. the database is a SQL database with a Foxpro front end. in the VFP5 version I did not get any errors

In the latest uses version VFP9 I get and error bdefault.dbf could not be accessed.
Close the error and it kicks you out of the app.
The vendor can not reproduce the error.

bdefault.dbf holds the system configuration data related the the company.
SQL server, database name and other info. I do not access this file at all
in my reports. I do SQL queries and manipulate data then output to printer, screen (preview) of spreadsheet
