There is no objective stance within the US unless you analyse the FBI stats yourself.

Look at western Europe whether the average homicide rate is 5 times lower than the US. Should the US not look outside their little box and see what we do differently to handle this?? Sure gun-control probably is not the only thing that is neccesary (Adressing poverty to name another one).
IOW, isn't it time to look at WHY there is such a difference between europe and the US and how the US can learn from europe, trying to deal with the issue ??
Can anyone list a reason WHY the european model will not work in the US?
