Thanks for the tip. However, it does not work when running from my prg. Yes, the edit window stays open when SAVE is added to the line but the program continues on the next line as soon as you hit Preview. It appears that all this is designed so you can run the report edit / preview in you own window. Since this is a lot of work I decided to go back to my original idea of putting a loop around modify report and report form preview. It works and I don't have the time to do more right now.
