That I agree with. We hope that impulsive actions subside with maturity. That is why I have no guns in my home while I have a teenager (who has friends over all the time as well) who lives here. However, when you refer to adults, now we get into the act of the government controlling the citizens and taking away the right to protect themselves because they (possibly) cannot control themselves and use mature judgment.
