That's a strange interpretation of the second amendment.

My take:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State
A milita is needed to ensure freedom

the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
People can have their guns.

There is nothing in the amendment that says guns are only for the militia.
