I don't think Mr. Petrino has exactly covered himself in glory. Sure, it turned out to be a rotten situation to come into, with the best player suspended for the season, but it doesn't say much for him that he bailed out after less than a season.

Oh, to be sure....without a doubt

Remember that he signed a long extension at Louisville in summer '06, and then left right after the Orange Bowl to coach the Falcons. And now this....

So it's safe to say two things:

- He'll never coach in the NFL, ever again
- This *might* be his last coaching gig, in the college ranks

I watched the Arkansas press conference last night, and I certainly understand the anger of many Falcon players.

I'm not a big Arthur Blank fan, but I do feel for the man right now. In the last 6 months, two very important people have lied to him.
