As Kevin points out, he was immediately looking for another job after signing a long term extension with Louisville. Some of these college guys never stop looking for an even job than they already have. Not just after a while but right away. Gary Barnett, who took Northwestern to the Rose Bowl 10 years ago, was notorious for it. He kept saying how happy he was in Evanston but he went after every high profile job that opened up. And he isn't alone.

After posting this morning I read an opinion piece on the train saying Petrino's move is going to put a chill on college guys in general getting NFL head coaching jobs for a while.
