>I'm having a problem with the 'sender' address when sending e-mails via SMTP.
>I find that if I send an e-mail using telnet, and I include the 'mail from:', the correct senders e-mail address is included on the recipients e-mail (e.g.
fred@cevalogistics.com), and I can 'reply' to the e-mail correctly. However, when using WWIPSTUFF's 'SendMail' and set the 'emsenderaddress' property, the recipient sees '"
fred@cevalogistics.com"
'. When the user tries to reply to the e-mail, it attempts a reply to 'smitha@gblogistics.com' which is an invalid e-mail address.
>In summary, the sender address does not appear to work properly. I wonder if anyone else has come across this problem and found a resolution.
>Thank you.
Our implementation may vary from yours, but we put the address in the cSenderEmail property.
