I am currently work at a company that sales and installs a point of sales application. With several hundred installation, it amazes me that they (he) still runs it like a "one man pony show". QA? what that they say. Testing? that for companies like MS. Bug tracking? we have a excel spread sheet, somewhere. They predict that the client number will over double in the next year. The customer service area is currently overwhelmed with phone calls.

The IT world is the same as it has always been. So sad.
