Well that is total b.s. All you have to download is a device driver and there isn't any warning with the drivers. I'd be interested to know which phone he used - my guess is the 6700 or more likely the 6800 - the 6800 uses EVDO-Rev A and is fast enough to soak up a lot of charges. None-the-less I sure don't see any warnings with those drivers.
What is ironic is that they don't want people to teather the units to a PC, but yet they go ahead and sell units that allow this. Bunch of jerks if you ask me.
