I started with "Distress" (which I owe another reading, sooner or later), where he invented a genetic open source country, a floating live island (GE'd coral or summat) in international waters, where all IP is under GPL, including DNA. He also uses "ve" and "vis" as a gender-and-sexual-orientation-neutral pronoun.
