>I've created a one to may report using the wizard. the report works okay except that when I execute the report, the record pointer of the parent table automatically goes to top. I want to execute this report from one of my forms when a user needs a one page report of what they see on the screen. Kind of like a "print screen" report of what the user is looking at on the current "main" form. I thought this would be a quick way to get a print screen, but when the report is executed, the record pointer immediately goes to top which is not the record they are looking at on the current form. What am I doing wrong here? I can't figure out what is going on.

John,

Josh had the right idea - to use the 'NEXT 1' clause when you call the report. Check the report to be sure that private datasession is set OFF and that you do not have tables in the report dataenvironment. These will overwrite any data sent via the "REPORT FORM..." command.
