I took the plunge yesterday and installed SP2 on a production machine. Recompiled and then ran the apps on machines with SP1 runtimes - Vista, XP, and W2K. I know there are some issues with doing this but for us it all seems to work 100%. So looks good so far.


>The fuzz about SP2 is largely exaggerated in my opinion. They fixed a zillion bugs, and introduced a few new. For some people the newly introduced bugs can be serious of course, but most of them have workarounds. Personally I have not been affected at all.
