Although it does not explain the delays while moving on the Document View window, we experience long loads on forms that have several tables in the Data Environment, when removing them and USEing them in the OpenTables method, then the form loads fast again (or if you keep the tables in the DE but you open the tables before modifying the form, even if you do so in a different instance of VFP9!)
I am sure is not your problem, but you might want to check it out if you run out of ideas <g>
