reminiscent of dBase and FoxPro, except that LINQ is more flexible because it can target arbitrary data sources, such as an XML document, or any enumerable .NET object.I also believe the author should not be comparing it the FoxPro in this way. Do they have the experience with FoxPro to make the comparison?

31868) I can query against 41 different source of data using the standard SQL language. When they can query a SQL Server table and join it with a Array and output it to a Collection, then I will truly be impressed.
