I love these I-deserve-a-forehead-slap moments, had many of them while learning Fox. After spending some time looking for a way to do something, when you find it it looks more than obvious.

The only illogical thing in the syntax, that confused the paradise out of me was the "quotation marks are optional" that was inherited from dBase. That came back to bite us when filenames acquired spaces... had we kept the habit that any string literal MUST be delimited, it would have been cleaner. Once you overcome that awkward feeling, it becomes quite natural.
