Tracy,

See Re: Is there a way to convert XSD to a table structure? Thread #1025314 Message #1025538

>I have an xsd file and I would like to create empty cursors from it. The cursors are described in the xsd file. I also have a sample xml file which I used the xmladapter to create the cursors from and then populated the cursors with my data which works. I then created a function to create those cursors in the future on the fly (not from the xsd file but from the 1st cursors I created from the xml file), but I would rather use the xmladapter to just read the xsd file on disk and create the cursors on the fly based on the structures in the xsd. It appears tocursor() only works if the tables have been created using loadxml() from an xml file.
