And they got their act together pretty well I think.

I got an HD DVD player last month. The first update to my Queue was to add Heroes Season 1 (HD). Netflix prompted me 2 or 3 times to verify I knew what I was asking for, by asking for and HD DVD. Then it asked if I wanted Netflix to auto switch any selection I make in the future to HD if an HD version exists for a selection I make.

Thoughtful customer service I think.

>I can highly recomment NetFlix, one set price per month, no late fees, and since we've got a distribution center here in Austin, 2 day turnaround.

>>>HSB was a real pioneer for that format. Haven't watched the show since original airing but remember it was a favorite ( Charlie Haid - Renko - became a very accomplished director as well )
>>>
>>>If you haven't seen Homicide - Life on the Streets there are 7 seasons of that on DVD now too. A notch up from HSB IMO - building on the accomplishments of the former. ( and The Wire - same creative team as Homicide - builds on that. )

>>Homicide is the one that introduced Richard Belzer's "John Munch" character, right? I think we saw a few episodes when they did stuff with Law and Order.

>>If we ever get another video store around here (Blockbuster closed a few years ago and Hollywood just closed), I'll have to look for it.
