A couple of reasons:

(1) I've got a lot of columns to show to the right of the "tree" -- some numeric, some character. There are lot of events that I respond to based on these columns. TreeView doesn't handle this; I don't know about MSFlexGrid ActiveX controls.

(2) I have a lot of investment throughout a lot of applications using this grid-based solution. Inertia can be a powerful force.

So, there'd have to be a heck of a good reason for me to switch ... the namby/pamby appearance of my +/- wouldn't be sufficient.

Cheers,

Jim
