They told you today??? Wow, that stinks, I am REALLY sorry.

I'm sure you already realize this....but sometimes local user groups are good ways to find out about jobs. I know people who have found jobs though user groups. And even though I'm not a big fan of recruiters, once in a while you'll find a decent one who can help.
