You mentioned Bata Shoe Company.

Here they had (been empty for a few years now) a building that was shaped much like a shoebox. I rather liked it.

Anyway, I drove by it yesterday and saw that it is being torn down (or should that be torn up < s >?). I'm sorry to see it go.
